Easy file transfer from iPhone and iPad to Windows
KoyomiDrop is a file transfer app for sending photos, videos, and files from your iPhone or iPad to a Windows PC.
It connects to the PC-side app “Koyomi-Link” on the same local network. You can connect easily by scanning a QR code. If QR scanning is not available, you can also connect manually by entering a connection URL or IP address.
Main features
- Send photos and videos from your photo library
- Send files such as PDFs, ZIP files, CSV files, and other documents from the Files app
- Add files to KoyomiDrop from the share menu
- Use drag and drop to add files on iPad
- Save successful Koyomi-Link connections and reconnect automatically next time
- Connect manually using a URL or IP address
- Use selected files as a send queue with optional auto-send behavior
Designed to work with Koyomi-Link
To use KoyomiDrop, the Windows app “Koyomi-Link” is required on your PC. Start Koyomi-Link on Windows, then scan the displayed QR code with KoyomiDrop to connect.
Once a connection succeeds, the destination is saved. On the next launch or when the app becomes active again, KoyomiDrop can try to reconnect starting from the most recently used destination.
Chunk-based transfer for larger files
KoyomiDrop is designed to send files in chunks instead of loading the entire file into memory at once. This makes it suitable not only for photos, but also for videos and work files.
Useful for situations like these
- Moving photos taken on iPhone to a Windows PC
- Sending PDFs or documents received on iPad to your computer
- Transferring video files to Windows without a cable
- Sending files simply within the same Wi-Fi network
KoyomiDrop is a Koyomi-Link companion app designed to make everyday file transfers between iPhone, iPad, and Windows smoother.
