KoyomiDrop Privacy Policy
Koyomi App Lab (“we,” “our,” or “us”) establishes this Privacy Policy to explain how user information is handled in the app “KoyomiDrop” (“the App”).
The App is a file transfer app that allows users to send photos, videos, and various files from an iPhone or iPad to a Windows PC. To transfer files, the App connects to the Windows-side app “Koyomi-Link” on the same local network.

The App communicates with the PC-side app “Koyomi-Link” on the same local network and sends files selected by the user to a Windows PC.
2. Information We Collect
The App does not send or collect personal information, photos, videos, files, usage history, device identifiers, location information, or similar data to servers managed by us.
Photos, videos, and files selected within the App are used only for the purpose of sending them to the Windows PC specified by the user.
These files are not sent to any external server managed by us.
3. Handling of Photos, Videos, and Files
The App sends photos, videos, and files selected by the user to Koyomi-Link on the same local network.
Files selected for transfer may be copied to a temporary area within the App for transfer processing.
Temporary files that are no longer needed will be deleted according to the App’s specifications.
The App does not access photos, videos, or files that the user has not explicitly selected.
4. Use of the Camera
The App uses the camera to scan QR codes used to connect to Koyomi-Link.
Camera input is used only for QR code scanning.
The App does not save camera images or videos, nor does it send them to servers managed by us.
5. Use of the Photo Library
The App uses access to the photo library so that users can select photos and videos to send to a Windows PC.
Only items explicitly selected by the user are used.
The App does not collect, analyze, or externally transmit the entire photo library.
6. File Access
The App accesses files selected by the user from the Files app, share menu, drag and drop, or similar input methods in order to send those files.
Access is limited to files explicitly selected by the user.
The App does not automatically collect files stored on the device.
7. Local Network Communication
The App uses local network communication to connect with Koyomi-Link running on a Windows PC on the same Wi-Fi or local network.
This communication is used for connection checks and file transfers between the App and Koyomi-Link.
The App does not transfer files through any external server managed by us.
8. Saving Connection Information
For user convenience, the App may save connection information for Koyomi-Link destinations that were successfully connected.
Saved information may include the destination IP address, port number, and last connection date and time.
This information is used only within the device and is not sent to servers managed by us.
9. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
The App does not use external SDKs for advertising, analytics, user behavior analysis, or tracking.
The App does not collect information across other companies’ apps or websites for the purpose of tracking users.
10. Sharing Information with Third Parties
The App does not provide users’ personal information or selected files to third parties.
However, files that users send to a Windows PC using the App will be saved by Koyomi-Link at the destination specified by the user.
After transfer, those files are under the user’s own control.
11. Relationship with External Services and Apps
The App works together with the PC-side app “Koyomi-Link.”
Koyomi-Link is used to receive files on the user’s Windows PC.
Files sent from the App to Koyomi-Link are saved to the destination on the user’s Windows PC.
They are not stored on servers managed by us.
12. Data Deletion
Temporary files, connection history, and similar data stored within the App may be deleted through App functionality, device settings, or by deleting the App.
Files that have already been sent to a Windows PC cannot be deleted from within the App.
Please manage and delete transferred files on the destination PC by yourself.
13. Children’s Privacy
The App is a general-purpose file transfer app that can be used regardless of age.
However, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
14. Security
The App is designed to send files selected by the user over a local network.
Please use caution when using the App on public Wi-Fi or other untrusted network environments.
When using the App, please connect to Koyomi-Link running on a Windows PC that you manage, and use a trusted network environment.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as necessary.
Any changes will become effective when posted on our website or announced within the App.
